Giro debutante Georg Steinhauser of EF Training EasyPost completed off his newest escape effort to lastly win a stage of the Giro d’Italia, at Passo Brocon. The son of former professional Tobias Steinhauser left the peloton with the day’s breakaway, and survived alone after leaving Trek’s Amanuel Ghebreigzabhier and Israel-Premier Tech’s Marco Frigo behind for good on the Passo Brocon’s first ascent. He was away with no one in sight for the ultimate climb, and whereas the GC contenders briefly made some noise on the finish, with UAE’s Tadej Pogacar extending his lead by taking second place, it was a day for the EF climber to make his title for himself.

Dolomite Dynamite of the Day: Damiano Caruso
Betting we get at this time as a substitute what we didn’t get yesterday.
(This seems to be all set for a breakaway so we’re searching for a robust climber on respectable kind who isn’t threatening anybody on GC and who isn’t tied up with different workforce duties.)
